Rust


SCAD Libraries 2024 Artists Book Competition viewer's choice award and selection into the exhibition!
Jen Library purchased  Rust,  and include it in Special Collections.

I made a cloth book about rust.
In the corners of silence, rust blooms quietly, traces of age, slowly wandering across the metal.
It is not destruction, but the beginning of change, a silent conversation, a symphony of past and present.
Each piece of rust is a brushstroke of time, drawing the map of life on a hard surface.
Rust, the art of nature, the proof of life This is also about my memories of my grandpa.
